These Terms and Conditions apply to all transactions between us and yourself. They do not affect your statutory rights. Please read them carefully.
These Terms and Conditions are governed by English law and are subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts. We do not accept amendments to these Terms and Conditions.
The 'Company' means Beautiful Beers. The 'Purchaser' means the person whose order is accepted by the Company. The 'Recipient' means the person who receives the goods from the Company as directed by the Purchaser. 'Goods' are the products purchased from this website and usually include alcoholic beverages, gifts and vouchers.
You must be over the age of 18 years old to use our website and to place an order for purchases. In addition to this, the recipient must also be over the age of 18 years old. They are subject to these Terms and Conditions. The Terms may be subject to change from time to time and changes will be posted on this webpage.

Minimum purchase requirement is 12 bottles of 25cl, 30cl, 33cl, 37.5cl or 50cl, which can be mixed. Larger sized bottles, such as 75cl count for 2 bottles. Glasses count as one bottle. You may order single bottles, single glasses and a combination of different bottle sizes and glassware, but the minimum delivery charge will be applied regardless of numbers ordered. You may place your order through the website or call our shop telephone number on 01284 767205 to place your order. A telephone answering service may be in operation and, upon leaving a message, we will call you back at the earliest opportunity.
Many of our products can be offered as gifts. Please select the products you wish to offer as a gift. You will be prompted at the checkout for a message for your gift, this message will be hand written on a card and delivered with your order. Gift vouchers may be purchased, they will be sent to the recipient who will be asked to phone or e-mail in their order quoting the number on the voucher. The order will then be dispatched.
Carriage charges are applied to your order so that the recipient of the voucher doesn't have to pay it. Please bear this in mind when purchasing your voucher.
We will tell you if your payment details cannot be authorised for any reason and may invite you to pay by another method or suggest that you (re-)visit our shop.
Your order is sent directly to our secure till in our shop for processing. Once we have received your order and payment, our staff will pick, pack and dispatch the item. We will aim to do this the same day for all orders received, however during busy times this may extend to longer. Our courier will collect your order from 13.00 Monday to Friday. Or you may collect your order free of charge from our shop during normal opening hours.
There is a standard delivery charge of £6.95. Delivery charges are for Mainland UK. Standard delivery is by courier within 5 working days from order confirmation (normally within 2-3 days). Overnight and Special deliveries possible. Please contact us for a quotation.
You will receive an email giving you details of your delivery with a consignment number for you to track your order. You may leave instructions as to where to leave the ordered goods. If you are not in when the goods are delivered, goods may be left with neighbours and/or a card will be left with contact details for you to arrange another delivery. If the courier is not contacted, they will automatically try to deliver your beers on the next two consecutive days, leaving a contact card on the first day and a card to advise of the consignment being returned to the depot on the second. Should the goods then be returned to the Company after all attempts have failed, we will issue a full credit, or re-despatch on your instruction when the same delivery cost will be charged against your account.
We pride ourselves in high customer service levels and we want to ensure that your goods will be delivered to you in good condition. Any instances of goods being delivered below expectations, such as broken bottles, should be reported immediately on arrival but within 7 days, upon which we will issue a refund for the damaged bottles. The total price payable will be stipulated at the time when you place your order whether or not the order has been acknowledged. We are entitled to make adjustments to the price to take account of any increase in our suppliers' prices, or the imposition of any taxes or duties, or if due to an error or omission the price published for the goods is wrong whether or not the order has been acknowledged. We will inform you of the correct price and give you the opportunity to cancel the order. All prices are inclusive of VAT but exclusive of delivery charges which will be payable as indicated at the time the order is placed.
One of the most secure methods of payment is to purchase on-line. Using this method your personal credit card details are sent direct to our bank using Sagepay. Complete your delivery and credit/debit card details and Sagepay will process your transaction in a completely secure environment. All transaction information passed between merchant sites and the SagePay VSP Systems is encrypted using 128-bit SSL certificates. No cardholder information is ever passed unencrypted and any messages sent to your servers from SagePay are signed using MD5 hashing to prevent tampering. Our staff do not see sight of your credit card details, the transaction goes straight through to our bank.
Alternatively you can call our shop on 01284 767205 to place your order. A telephone answering service may be in operation and, upon leaving a message, we will call you back at the earliest opportunity. Our shop opening times are 10.30am - 5.30pm Monday, Wednesday and Saturday, 10.30am – 20.00pm on Thursday and Friday and 11.00am – 16.00pm on Sunday. The shop is closed on Tuesdays. Payment can be made by credit card over the phone when you speak to us.
You can order and pay for goods by cheque, sending your order and cheque to Beautiful Beers, 1b St. John's Street, Bury St. Edmunds, Suffolk IP33 1SQ. Any order paid for by cheque will not be dispatched until the cheque has cleared. Please make sure you calculate totals carefully and include the delivery charge in your total amount payable. All cheques are to be made payable to 'Beautiful Beers'.
Age restrictions on orders and goods delivery
We do not sell any alcoholic products to anyone under the age of 18 years old.
Where alcoholic products will be delivered as a gift, the recipient of the goods should also be 18 or over. If there is any doubt then our courier may request some form of I.D. from the purchaser or recipient. If they are not satisfied that they are over the legal age to buy alcohol they will not leave your order.
Our Customer Privacy and Security Protection
The Company will never disclose any of your personal details to any third party, unless legally obliged to by UK Government authorities. We will only use your information to send you an e-mail to keep you informed of new products and seasonal offers and suggestions. When you register on our site you will be given the opportunity to opt out of receiving any communication from us other than that required to process your registration or subsequent orders. In accordance with the Privacy & Electronic Communications Act passed into law 11 Dec 03, we do not send random marketing emails to personal email addresses (spam). All of the personal information you enter, including your name, address and password, are held securely in our database. This ensures that no unauthorised users can access the data. You are entirely responsible for the safekeeping of your username and password and any orders placed using them. If you become aware of any unauthorised users you must notify us immediately. If you have forgotten your password, you can click on the 'forgot your password' button, which will prompt you to enter your email address. You will then be automatically sent your password reminder.

You will appreciate that goods may have been despatched before cancellation takes place. You can help us reduce waste by notifying us as soon as possible, but no later than 7 days after the receipt of the goods provided that the goods are in original condition they were sent; unopened and sealed, as required by the Consumer Protection for Distance Selling Regulations 2000 (as amended).
Refunds minus any carriage charges will be made within 14 days from the date of cancellation. It is the customer's responsibility to keep the goods in perfect condition until they are collected. Collection charges apply.
We take pride in our personal level of service. If you are not entirely happy with your purchase then please return the items to us within 14 days of receipt in its original condition and packaging and we will refund you the value less the delivery costs. Please note that the postage and cost of returns is the responsibility of the purchaser or recipient. Any goods supplied by Beautiful Beers which have incurred a deposit, such as the Perfect Draft kegs, can be returned to the Company for a refund. We can arrange collection by courier for a nominal fee of £18.95 regardless of the number of kegs. Upon receipt of the goods the Company will refund the deposit value. Please note that the postage and cost of returns is the responsibility of the purchaser or recipient. Goods with a deposit value supplied by the Company will carry an identification label and only those goods can be returned.

We are not liable for breach of this Agreement for any loss or liability arising from circumstances of force majeure and other circumstances beyond our reasonable control such as Act of God, Government regulation or order, fire, theft, flood, strike, riot, insurrection, war, national emergency, power shortage, pandemic, terrorist activity.
These terms are subject to English law and you, the purchaser or recipient and we, the Company accept the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts in connection with any disputes. Headings are not to be used in the constructions of this Agreement. These terms and any document referred to in them are the entire agreement between us and may only be varied as stated in these terms or by agreement in writing. Our failure to enforce a right does not amount to waiver of it. You may not assign or transfer your agreement with us to any third party.
