Cidrerie du Leguer Granit Brut 5.5% 330ml
Cidrerie du Leguer Granit Brut 5.5% abv
Cidrerie du Leguer is a specialist Breton craft cider maker.
They are a small family farm with just 6ha of apples. The orchards are managed according to the rules of organic agriculture – activity is mainly limited to mowing the grass and pruning branches.
Each orchard is harvested, by hand, three times from October to December – everything is done by themselves. The apples are then left to further ripen for 3 to 4 weeks before grating and shredding and being gently pressed for about 3 hours. There is a long fermentation process, with the 1st fermentation in the cuvée lasting 5 months before bottling in spring, followed by a 2nd fermentation in the bottle (3 months).
All their ciders are brut or extra brut. No sulfites are added; the cider is made from pure juice, naturally sparkling with a secondary fermentation in the bottles, only racking and filtering when required.

We are committed to providing you with an excellent service, which includes delivering your goods in way which will not affect your order adversely. Most beers we sell are bottle-conditioned and will contain some sediment. We therefore would like to advise you to use the following guidelines on receipt of your goods:
- Please open the box carefully and the correct way up (address label will be on the top of the box)
- Check for any damage or broken glass.
- In the unlikely event of any broken glass we would recommend to leave the broken glass in the box and only extract those bottles that are undamaged. Then dispose of the box, including broken glass, safely in an appropriate manner.
- Do not open any bottles shortly after delivery. They are likely to be very volatile and cause spillage.
- We recommend to leave the beers to settle for at least 6 hours, preferably for 24 hours.
We pride ourselves in high customer service levels and we want to ensure that your goods will be delivered to you in good condition. Any instances of goods being delivered below expectations, such as broken bottles, should be reported immediately on arrival but within 7 days, upon which we will issue a refund for the damaged bottles. This does not affect your statutory rights.
For deliveries to the USA please note that due to severe restrictions by courier companies, the maximum amount of liquid that can be sent is 75cl per consignment. Glasses and other items have no restrictions but please be aware these are packaged very well to avoid breakages, so postage can be high. Please contact us for an accurate quotation, as the current rates on our website allows for a large box, regardless of weight.
